Online Etymology Dictionary

Online Etymology Dictionary

One of my favorite things to do is lookup word orgins. You can find it here at Online Etymology. Its fun to do with a lookup once a day with friends. You always find something intersting. I think my biggest surprise is that most words are not as old as I would have thought. I'd say a great deal of them are only 500 years or less.

Sushi House

Sushi House

Well, here it is my favorite place to eat here in Overland Park, KS. My favorite dishes are Tako Sunomono (sliced octopus over slices of cucumber with rice vinegar), Miso soup, Tekka Don (tuna sashimi over rice). So if you are town, be sure to stop by and see all the friendly faces.

Green Tea Benefits Health

Green Tea Benefits Health

This is a great site if you want your green tea (緑お茶) straight from Japan. I met a person from the Shizuoka (静岡) region of Japan, and she recommended this tea. I tried some and its great!! I got some great ceramic tea pots from here, but I'm always looking for something better.

I suggest that you try a first flush sencha. I got the daily sencha, and it was good, but the higher grade teas definitely make a difference.
